Friends from NE

Our Nebraska friends, Ellie and Cade, came to visit us! What a blessing it was to have them around. We took them to our church and had a great time together. After they left, Allison kept going all over the house saying "Cade, Cade, Cade". I think she missed him when he left!

Summer is Here!

Summer is here and we are enjoying it so much! It took a while for the weather to warm up, but now it is mid June and hot, hot!

The above are some miscellaneous pictures from about a month ago. We cleaned out old walls and garbage out of our basement. Allison likes to help Mom in the kitchen and sport her K-State gear with Daddy. She also likes corn on the cob these days.

Our Fridge

Growing up, we hung lots of things on the fridge..... I used to dream of the day I would be a Mom..and what the outside of my fridge would be like.

I promised myself that my fridge would be full...I mean overflowing...with family pictures, artwork, and anything that my kids or I thought was 'fridge-worthy'.

Notice the letter in the picture above?

This is from Brennon's 4th architectural licensing exam. He passed. He has to pass 7 tests to become a licensed architect. He has now passed 4 of the 7.

I guess you could say this is 'fridge worthy'. Congratulations B!!

The Sandbox

I could stay in here for hours! Thanks Daddy.

The other day...I mentioned to Brennon that I thought Allison would really enjoy a little sandbox- you know, for the backyard.

She's really into touching things, feeling different textures......and getting her feet dirty.

Before I knew it, Brennon had built this cute little sandbox just for Allison. Genius.

She really seems to enjoy the experience...bare feet and all!!!

Happy Easter 2011!

Her dress had ladybugs on it...and she loved to look and point at the ladybugs all day!

Allison is really into words such as "bug" and "bird". So, every time a bird would fly by, she would stop and point at the bird...then she was back to getting her eggs into her basket.

Allison knew just what to do - she found all the eggs so fast!
