Allison & Daddy

Allison is telling Daddy all about it...

She is helping Daddy with his designs.

Brennon and Allison have been busy helping design plans for Gma and Gpa's new addition to their cabin. Allison likes to help and learn about what Daddy does all day!

Allison has been sleeping through the night (knock on wood)! Could it be the thumb-sucking that has helped her sleep? Could it be her new routine? Could it be a growth spurt? Who knows, but we are feeling so new and rested these days.

She's also discovered her voice. She makes lots of noises and likes to test her vocal cords. It's great hearing her; it's music to our ears!!

Dreaming

We ventured out to the boat show this weekend. It didn't take long for Rebecca and I to find the boat we have always dreamed of. Don't we look great with this boat? I think it would suite us just great! It has all the amenities we need. Heck, we could even take the kiddos along and feel right at home with this boat.

She never did take a binki, so I think the thumb is her "soother".

I have to say, it is quite cute...

Around Thanksgiving we got a call from our friends, Mike and Wendy, and they announced they were expecting.......EXPECTING PUPPIES!!! The puppies finally arrived and we got to see them before their eyes were even open. So cute and very tempting to bring another one home.

Back to work!

I went back to work two weeks ago. The first few days I felt like a walking zombie and I missed Allison like crazy!! No more nap times for me! Each day seemed to get better and the transition has seemed to worked well for us. I love the fact that her daycare is 5 minutes from my work. I can go see her if I want to. She seems to have made some new friends and now she is taking the bottle!!!! Thanks to my mom who came and stayed with us for 4 days and helped Allison take the bottle!!! Whoo-hoo!

Almost 12 weeks old!

Growing so fast..

We got all dressed up and visited our friends, Giuliana and Mikaela this week.

Allison has discovered her hands! She likes sitting in her bumbo seat (for a short time). She can reach and touch toys in front of her. She likes to laugh and smile a lot. Nothing melts my heart as much as when she wakes up and sees me and smiles real big!! Love it!
