34 Week Pregnancy Update

Last week was the 34th week of pregnancy. Not much has changed in appearance. Although I am really feeling the strain of all this extra weight I've been carrying. It's all worth it for our baby girl! Everything checked out well at the Dr. appointment and the doctor seems to think we are right on schedule. She did tell me to get my pre-admin paperwork completed and turned in to the hospital. So, I have been finishing that up. Other than that, we are just waiting and dreaming of this new life to come...

NSP Baby Shower

Brennon's office threw us a baby shower! My camera batteries ran out and I only have this one picture, until I get more from family. 

It was a great time, eating wonderful food from OK Joe's and getting to catch up with everyone from Brennon's office.

These lovely ladies planned this beautiful baby shower for me! They did a great job, everything was so, so cute, and very special to me!! I also have to say...the food was yummy too:) I had such a great time getting showered with gifts and enjoying the wonderful company of many friends.

Danny and Jordyn Visit

This weekend, my brother Danny and his girlfriend Jordyn came and stayed with us for a couple of days. It was fun getting to hang out with them. We introduced them to good food at Ghengis Khan. Us girls also talked the guys into seeing the movie "The Time Traveler's Wife".

A couple weekends ago, Brennon's parents came to visit us in KC. We spent one night at the Legends. We went to Nebraska Furniture Mart and then to dinner at Famous Daves. It was a fun evening!

30 Week Pregnancy Update

I'm trying to get everything organized...you know me!

We purchased a crib and Brennon put it together. Blackjack always tries to help out. I don't think he has quite figured out what is going on..but he knows something is coming..

We are on the home stretch! Whooo-hoo! Here's the 30 week picture. I had a doctor appointment last week and our baby girl now weighs approx 2 lb 7 oz. At the doctor I completed my glucose test and got the shot for my rh- blood. Whew! We are getting more and more excited for baby to be here. To celebrate, we started putting the little girl's room together.

A few weekends ago, we escaped to Tablerock lake for a long 4 day weekend. It was so much fun to just hang out with the family. My parents got a really nice cabin and we just walked to the boat dock where we loaded in the boat for skiing and tubing. It was such a fun, relaxing time. I can't wait for next year!
