Easter 2008
This year's easter was a little different. Instead of going back to McPherson, Brennon and I stuck around KC and enjoyed some time together.

Our good friends Rob and Kyran had a plumbing issue at their house. Unfortunataly the guys missed the easter feast to finish the plumbing.

Drew and Alicia invited me and Kyran over to Drew's parents house for lunch. We had so much fun listening to Drew's brother Stuart. He made us laugh a lot! Drew and Alicia's dog are named Maynard and Chino. They are so cute. We can't wait to introduce them to Blackjack sometime.

Little Baby Blackjack

Blackjack had a fun weekend! He got a new bone from g-ma Dana. It was really good and he said he wanted another one sometime. I think he completely made the bone disappear into his belly in about 30 minutes. Must have been tasty!
Blackjack is 17 months old now and loving every minute of it. What a lucky pooch.....

Cruise 2008

We went on the trip with our friends, Mark and Jackie. They moved to Pennsylvania a year ago and so we were really excited to get to go on the cruise together!
Our favorite part was the island of St. Thomas and visiting the Virgin Gorda Baths. It was beautiful. Just laying on the beach was enough for me, really. We went exploring through a rock cave. We did some snorkeling together, but when I saw a sting ray, that was the end of it for me.
The food on the boat was amazing. We ate and ate, and ate some more.
Brennon managed to coax me in to visiting the onboard casino one of the nights. I actually think this was the part he had been waiting for. He was hoping to win enough money to fully pay for our cruise. Let's just say, it wasn't a lucky night for us!
We saw some flying fish. They were so cute, they looked like little Nemo's.
Another highlight of the whole trip was going to the onboard shows and entertainment each night.

It's true, Michelle and Frankie are expecting.........not just one, but two! I'm so excited for Michelle. She is going to have her hands full, that's for sure. Michelle had such a great idea to get togther for a brunch at her house. It was good to catch up with the girls! In college we all had nick-names. From left to right, our names were Bill, Bob, and Bert. You're better off not asking where those names came from....
Congratulations, Michelle!
Congratulations, Michelle!

Danny's 23rd Birthday Party

Feb 2008
After the cruise, we celebrated with Danny for his 23rd birthday! We went to Wichita and saw his new house construction. Hopefully he will be able to move in soon- it's almost done. The new place is looking good!
Then we met up at On The Boarder for dinner. Danny's girlfriend, Jordyn, came too. She just finished school and is working at a salon in Wichita. It was good to see her again.

Considering mom and dad don't get out much these days, it was a great time! Mom almost left with someone else's coat. It was great!
After dinner we went to see Katie's dorm room at WSU. However, it's more like a suite, it's got a living area and kitchen! Go Shockers!
